Happy Gardener® Pine Fines is a very dense product that can be used as a stand-alone potting soil or ground cover, or can be mixed with other planting materials to make your own custom potting soil! While the size of the product does not make it a proper choice for mulching around trees and larger landscapes, pine fines are ideal for use as mulch in small flower beds, raised beds and in container vegetable gardens.
