Wallace's garden mums are grown right here in Bettendorf.  We start them in June so they can be blooming and ready for fall color.  They are cold hardy but we do recommend planting them in the ground at least 6-8 weeks before the ground freezes. We also recommend mulching them heavily over the winter.  Many customers just treat them like annuals for fall color.
