Stone Fruit Turnovers

  • 1 cup mixed stone fruits (cherries, plums, peaches)
  • 2-3 tbsp. sugar as needed
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 egg and water, beaten
  • 1 package frozen puff pastry sheets


  1. Preheat the oven to 425°. Unfold the slightly thawed puff pastry.
  2. Cut each sheet into 4 equal pieces and brush with the egg wash.
  3. In a microwave safe container heat the fruit sugar and cornstarch for 1 1/2 minutes until the cornstarch begins to thicken.
  4. Add 1 tbsp. of the fruit to one side of the dough and turn the empty side onto the other side so it forms a triangle.
  5. Brush the tops with more egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed up and golden brown.
  6. Drizzle with some powdered sugar, glaze while they're still hot, and wait patiently until they won't burn your mouth and ruin your day!
