- 1 cup mixed stone fruits (cherries, plums, peaches)
- 2-3 tbsp. sugar as needed
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 egg and water, beaten
- 1 package frozen puff pastry sheets
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 425°. Unfold the slightly thawed puff pastry.
- Cut each sheet into 4 equal pieces and brush with the egg wash.
- In a microwave safe container heat the fruit sugar and cornstarch for 1 1/2 minutes until the cornstarch begins to thicken.
- Add 1 tbsp. of the fruit to one side of the dough and turn the empty side onto the other side so it forms a triangle.
- Brush the tops with more egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed up and golden brown.
- Drizzle with some powdered sugar, glaze while they're still hot, and wait patiently until they won't burn your mouth and ruin your day!
