Kitchen Sink Blondies

The best brown sugar blondies made with everything but your kitchen sink!

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 12 Tablespoons butter melted, slightly cooled
  • 1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed pretzels or potato chips
  • 1/2 cup of other candy like M&M's
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Adjust oven rack to middle position; heat oven to 350° F. Grease with cooking spray or line a 13 by 9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together in medium bowl; set aside.
  3. Melt the butter over medium heat and allow to cool slightly.
  4. Whisk melted butter and sugar together in medium bowl until combined.
  5. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
  6. Using rubber spatula, fold dry ingredients into egg mixture until just combined; do not over-mix.
  7. Fold in the assortment of your favorite mix-ins and turn batter into prepared pan, smoothing top with rubber spatula.
  8. Bake until top is shiny, cracked, and light golden brown, 22 to 25 minutes; do not over bake.
  9. Cool on wire rack to room temperature.
  10. Remove bars from pan by lifting foil overhang and transfer to cutting board.
  11. Cut into 12 large or 16 small(ish) bars and serve.
