INGREDIENTS:
- 2 lbs ground beef 20/80% fat
- 1 cup crushed saltines
- 1 large onion, chopped fine
- 1⁄2 cup catsup
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1½ tablespoon prepared horseradish
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
For the Sauce:
- 1⁄2 cup catsup
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1½ tablespoon prepared horseradish
- 2 tablespoons brown mustard
DIRECTIONS:
- Combine the meatloaf ingredients in a large bowl, mixing well.
- Form mixture into a loaf, and place in a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.
- Combine sauce ingredients in a small bowl, stirring well.
- Spoon half the sauce mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake uncovered, at 375° for 45-50 minutes.
- Spoon the remaining sauce mix over the meatloaf, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Make sure internal temperature is above 165°.
- Remove to a serving platter.
