Condensed Milk Pecan Pie

Enjoy this classic-tasting pie that’s full of crunchy pecans, sweetened with condensed milk and brown sugar.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Pie crust
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 Tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups pecans
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Fit your favorite pie crust in a 9-inch deep dish pan. Place it in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°
  3. If desired, lightly toast the pecans in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Stir them frequently and remove from the heat when they are fragrant. Set aside to cool.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the brown sugar and flour. Add the eggs and mix to combine.
  6. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla until uniform.
  7. Add the pecans.
  8. Pour the filling into the prepared pie shell.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes, then cover the edges of the pie with a pie shield or aluminum foil. Continue to bake for about 10 more minutes, or until the edges of the pie are set and the center has just a little wiggle left.
  10. Cool completely at room temperature before transferring to the refrigerator for storage.
  11. Your loosely-covered pie will stay good in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
