Big Peach Dessert

 

A warm, comforting dessert with a soft cake-like layer and a sweet, gooey finish.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 large can of peaches (29 oz)
  • 8 tbsp butter (one stick)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup Big Peach Liqueur

 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Melt butter in a 9x13 baking pan
  2. In a mixing bowl mix together the flour, sugar, and baking powder. Add milk and  Big Peach Liqueur and stir until smooth.
  3. Pour over the melted butter. Do 
    not mix!
  4. Empty the can of peaches with liquid over the batter.
  5. Do not mix! Sprinkle with a few tsp sugar and bake for 45 minutes
  6. Remove pan from the oven and let cool slightly.
  7. Best served warm topped with vanilla ice cream. THIS IS GOOEY. Don’t be alarmed!
