Big Peach Bourbon Cobbler

 

 

An effortless Southern-inspired dessert made with fresh peaches, cake mix, and a splash of bourbon. Perfect for late-summer cookouts or holiday gatherings.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 to 7 peaches depending on size (4 cups sliced)
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup CODY ROAD BOURBON
  • ¾ cup brown sugar, divided
  • 1 (9-ounce) box Jiffy Golden Yellow Cake Mix
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • ¼ cup BIG PEACH LIQUEUR

 

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Peel and slice peaches.
  2. Add peaches to a medium sized pot and add water, Bourbon and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Cook over medium-low heat until peaches are soft (10 to 15 minutes).
  3. Remove from heat and strain peaches into a greased 9X13 baking dish. Add 1/2 cup of liquid remaining in pot over peaches.
  4. Sprinkle with boxed cake mix.
  5. Top cake mix with 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
  6. Using a knife, make swirls in baking dish to combine some of the dry ingredients with the peach juices below.
  7. Top with 1/4 cup melted butter mixed with the BIG PEACH LIQUEUR.
  8. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
