Baron Bruschetta

Baron Bruschetta

Simple, fresh ingredients come together for a light and flavorful starter.

Cook Time: 5 mins 

INGREDIENTS:

  •  3 tbsp olive oil 
  • 1 long french baguette
  • 1 large clove of garlic
  • 6-8 roma tomatoes, diced fine
  • 2 green onions, diced
  • 6 large black olives, pitted and sliced
  • ½ cup fresh basil, minced
  • ¼ cup River Baron Artisan Spirit
  • 1 tbsp vermouth
  • 1 tsp fresh ground pepper
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup olive oil 

 

DIRECTIONS:

1. Slice the baguette; brush with olive oil and rub with the cut side of the fresh clove of garlic.
2. Toast in the oven until golden.
3. Dice and mince all the vegetables and herbs.
4. Stir all the ingredients together in a non-reactive bowl.
5. Put the bruschetta topping on the toasted garlic bread at serving time.
6. Serve with some coarse sea salt on top.
